At this point I had a choice, either fall to self pity and become a victim or keep pushing forward towards my goals which at the time were primarily career driven. As you could guess, victim is not a word in my vocabulary, so onward with climbing the corporate ladders and starting a family.
After our second child at 32, I recognized my health was not heading in the right direction. I was struggling to lose the baby weight, working tireless hours pursuing my career aspirations, raising a family and being a wife. I knew I wasn’t performing well in any of these areas which only added to my stress levels and we know how excess stress can affect the body, remember my eye.
First I turned to typical “diets” such as counting calories, keto, WW, diet pills, starving and over exercising without any lasting results. I knew there had to be a better way. I didn’t want to choose between striving in my career, having my social life, being a present mother and wife to living in a cycle of unhealthy, anti-social, restrictive “diets.” So I embarked on a journey to have it all; the body, the confidence, the health, the mentality, the career, the time and the family.
I spent the last ten years researching by working with experts, coaches and personal experience to create harmony for high achieving women so they do not have to sacrifice their health while focusing on their career and family priorities.
